Dr Amanda Equi is one of the best consultants I have ever come across. From the first moment we met her with my young daughter she has been extremely thorough with her attention to detail. She listens carefully and is able to repeat everything back to you at further appointments. She wants to help and clearly loves her job which shines through when you receive the care and advice from her. She is an incredible consultant and we are grateful to have her looking our daughter. Thank you.

My little girl has been under Dr Equi for less than a year and she has done more for us than her previous consultant. I found that she listened to me and understood my concerns which to me lifted a weight off my shoulders as my little one has been in out of watford general hospital for 2 years with low platelets constant viral infections urine tract infections scarlett fever and so on! and i felt i wasnt being heard.Since referred to Dr Equi she referred my little one to GOSH and said she needs to be under a specialist and we will go from there.I was emotional and relieved .As now she is under an amazing specialist at GOSH getting the correct tests and not being put through the mills like she was . I am forever thankful for Dr Equi and we are still under her care which I am relieved as she listens and understands and as a mother you need that support I just wish she could be our GP.To me she is a wonderful angel in our eyes and I will be forever thankful to her.

As parents of a child who suffered a life threatening severe acute asthma attack in 2016, we are so glad we were referred to Dr Equi. Her expertise on Asthma and knowing the best medication to treat and prevent further attacks has been life changing for our son. We can’t thank her enough for her care over the last 4 years and are so glad we have such great people in our NHS. Thank you!

Dr Equi is up-to-date and always in touch with the latest developments in her field. She is open-minded when it comes to treatments, looking to find whatever is best for her patients (medicinal or non-medicinal.) For example, she recommended some home nasal decongestant methods to me which proved very effective. Dr Equi also introduced me to SMART therapy with symbicort which has greatly improved my asthma maintenance. It means I can carry less -solely relying on my turbohaler as a preventer and reliever. I am very fortunate to be under Dr Equi's care.
